Classes

We know that life can be as unpredictable as the weather! If you need to cancel your class, please let us know at least one week in advance. Without this notice, we won’t be able to accommodate cancellations. This helps us keep our garden blooming and gives other budding florists a chance to join. Our bouquets are designed to last as beautifully as they look. Depending on the varieties used, your flowers can stay fresh anywhere from 7 to 14 days. Some blooms are more delicate and seasonal, while others are chosen specifically for their long vase life. With the right care, including fresh water, a clean vase, and a cool spot away from direct sunlight, your arrangement will thrive and bring joy for days to come. We include simple flower care tips with every order to help you get the most out of your bouquet.

At April Flowers, we don’t cut corners when it comes to the planet. If it doesn’t align with our values, we simply don’t do it. That means making intentional choices in every part of our process, including how we package your flowers. Many florists and farms around the world still use cellophane sleeves and wraps that end up in landfills. We believe there’s a better way. Our flowers are wrapped using biodegradable and compostable materials, because beauty should never come at the cost of the earth. Flowers are one of the most meaningful ways to express love and emotion. But when we step back and look at the environmental impact of traditional packaging, it’s clear we all have room to grow. At April Flowers, we’re proud to lead by example and push for change in the floral industry. Delivery

Please click here for all of our delivery information including same-day deliveries, delivery times and delivery zones.

Yes, we do. Orders placed before 11 AM are eligible for same day delivery within our local delivery zones. Perfect for last-minute surprises or those just-because moments.
Absolutely. We offer flower delivery across the Greater Vancouver area and nearby communities. For our curated gifts and specialty items, we also provide shipping throughout Canada. Every order is handled with care from our hands to theirs.
If no one is home when your flowers arrive, our driver will do their best to leave the arrangement in a safe, shaded location near the door. If that’s not possible — for example, if the weather isn’t suitable or access is restricted — the flowers will be returned to the shop and we’ll contact you to arrange redelivery or pickup. We want your blooms to arrive fresh and beautiful, so we take extra care in ensuring they’re not left somewhere that could compromise their quality. If you’re sending flowers to someone, including a phone number or buzzer code at checkout helps us ensure a smooth delivery.

We proudly partner with Zipply, a Vancouver-based delivery service committed to sustainability. Their 100% electric fleet of cargo bikes and vans ensures every delivery is zero-emission. With micro-fulfillment hubs across the city, Zipply reduces congestion, speeds up delivery, and cuts carbon—over 6.2 tonnes so far.
